Akill/G-Line Help

This page is meant to give you some information about what to do if you get banned from MindForge and want to contact us. You can send us an e-Mail about what happened and why you think the ban should be removed.

Read carefully:

The following information must be included in the e-Mail so that we have enough information to analyse your case, if not, we will delete the e-Mail without further processing.

  • Nick
  • IP Address
  • Time & Date when the ban was set (including your timezone or country)
  • Reason for the ban included in the ban message
  • Who has set the ban (if you know or have a certain idea)
  • What you did right before you were banned
Tip: Copy&paste the ban message from your IRC-client's status window.

Once you have gathered the required information listed above, feel free to email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and state your case. Every eMail containing the required information will be examined and those that require a response will be answered.

Note about Proxy G-Lines:

We are running a Service that compares the IP of each connecting user both to an online database and our own database to check if the user is using an open proxy to connect to MindForge. As open proxys are mostly abused to flood channels and users, their use is not allowed on MindForge.
If you are sure that you did not connect via a proxy server, feel free to send us an eMail to the above address and we will check our IP and remove it from the databases if a false detection was the case for your ban.
Meanwhile, we advise you to scan your PC for viruses with the latest virus definitions, as many proxies are in fact trojaned private PCs, that run a hidden proxy server to enable the virus writer to send spam from this PC or hide their IP when performing illegal operations.
