Setting Up Xchat To Use SSL

  1. Open XChat menu, then choose "Network List".
  2. Next, click on MindForge and Edit.
  3. In the "Server" zone, modify your line with : "irc.mindforge.org/6697"
  4. Then select the two check boxes that say "Use SSL for all servers on this network" and "Accept invalid SSL certificate"
  5. Your screen must be like this one :


  • Disconnect / Reconnect
In the snotices log you will find something like this:
