WELCOME BACK !

The MindForge team would like to welcome you back from the summer holidays hoping that new energies will make this coming year a productive one for all of us !

Back in June, the MindForge Team saw the return of several “oldtimer” team members including a few of the original founders. This has given the network a real boost to finally tackle the problems which had been plaguing the network during the past year.

As for any network, close professional and personal ties between team members, as well as sound and well-rounded technical expertise, are essential for running a smooth operation. The close ties that network management has with you the Users obviously count enormously, and we thank you for your support in this new endeavor.

Our new restructuring efforts also included the merger in July of the Irc-Gate network. Home to the “eMulePlus” P2P program, this merger has brought additional human and material resources based on trust and mutual understanding. As a separate Open Source project, the eMule+ mod will have its own structure and organization distinct from that of the “official” eMule client.

As a gathering place for P2P Open Source projects and general IRC Chat, the MindForge network plans to continue to ensure individual project identities while respecting and maintaining a larger and more global community policy for all.

Other improvements including further forum and website development, better server protection and filtering techniques are also in progress. Unless the sky should fall on our heads, this should be the best year yet for MindForge !
